1/30 ~ Sun (source & essential Self) ~square~ Uranus (awakening & radical shift):  As with any Uranus activation, this one disrupts the normal flow in order to facilitate a ‘break to realign’ moment. While sometimes disruptive & challenging, the ultimate result is refreshing in some way. Consider the energy that thickens, gathering for a severe thunderstorm, then releasing buckets of rain, for hours, you sleep deeply and awaken to a bright sunny morning with birds chirping unusually loud outside your window. Got the visual? ; -)) This activation is the necessary challenge that gets your attention that something better is available, if you’re willing to improvise and think on your feet. If you’ve been unusually restricted in some way, you may feel restless. Rather than being reactive to the unexpected shift (within or without), it’s best to take a pause for the cause, step back and try to gain some perspective.

1/23 ~ Mercury Rx (communication & self-expression) ~conjunct~ Sun (core essential Self & Source energy):   This energy will compel you to express yourself on many levels. Communication will be a focus, just make sure it is reciprocated. What I mean is two-way communication and exchange of ideas. As you initiate this new cycle of self-expression, you will have access to some powerful energy that can (and probably will) help you make a difference or an impression on others (if you need to). This is a good time to travel if possible. However, if not physically, then mentally (through visualization) or within your own area (locally), because if you explore a new direction, you are more likely to discover something new. This energy opens you up to a download of more information than usual so pay attention! If you are solid and organized, you may even gain some much-deserved recognition from others that you have earned through your individual efforts.

1/16 ~ Sun (source & essential Self) ~conjunct~ Pluto (purification & transformation):   This energy brings to mind a quote, “circumstances don’t make a man, they reveal him”. The Sun (ego) and Pluto (transformation) are connecting and you are often a different Being once this energy passes and the two planets separate again (they meet once a year). Pluto brings into the Light, aspects of our Selves which may have been buried, neglected or ignored lately (or for some, a very long time). Sometimes that is miraculous & life-saving, and other times this can be arduous & exhausting, but it is a completely natural process.

If you’ve gotten away from your practice, this energy will make it easier to connect to your Spirit, your intuition and the vision for your life’s purpose, at this time. You may find where your contribution is most valued, when you step outside of your Self to see how others’ needs are important.

CAPRICORN ~ Energy of the Month

Capricorn is the energy of our inner authority – how we use our authority and how we sometimes tend to give our authority away. When you allow others to determine things you ought to be defining for yourself, you have willingly given your consent for them to be the authority in your life and dictate the direction you will go or the feelings you may feel. Even strangers on the street can get us that way at times. Practice being present and asking yourself if YOU are choosing to participate because it is in your own best interest or if you have chosen not to be responsible and thereby subjected to outer directives? True freedom and independence requires responsibility ~ being responsible for your thoughts, emotions, words, and deeds.

1/2 ~ CAPRICORN Super/New Moon: (#3 of 3 Super New Moons)
We can use this Super/New Moon to seed our intentions and clarify our goals going into the new year. The Cardinal Energy of Cancer/Capricorn/Libra/Aries is all about our *Fundamentals* and making choices & decisions in those departments of life. The messages are subtle yet fierce, clearly pointing to the end of the old as we create space and activate the fertility (compost) of the NEW!! The Capricorn Super/New Moon gives us the opportunity to set a new structure & foundation in place to support our growth & evolution in the new year.

2022 ~ Special Alignments

This update covers the Special Alignments happening in 2022. Each and every year has its own flavor and specific activations to deal with or navigate. Because I cover Venus on a monthly basis, I have only included Mars & Jupiter, although I did cover the New Venus Cycle in the Energetic Overview HERE. Saturn will be rather reserved this year after all the trouble it stirred up last year with major activations, so we are still dealing with and integrating all of that throughout this year too. For our purposes here, I will go over them in the order they happen and I will synthesize them along the way. That said, I also covered Jupiter moving into Pisces, Saturn’s last year in Aquarius and Mars lingering in Gemini on the 2022 Energetic Overview HERE, so here, I only cover how they interact with others during 2022.

2022 ~ Energetic Overview

Annual SOLAR Rhythm ~ The Sun spends about a month in each Sign, Aries through Pisces, every year. It has an Annual Rhythm that we can learn to sync-up with that is really juicy to co-create with consciously. You have your Birthday, aka Solar Return to where it was when you were born and that is a great Annual Rhythm to know for yourself. But I’ve taken it one step further and been testing my theory of starting my “New Year” with my Rising Sign Birthday.
