Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, represents your definition of reality and your purpose. So this time of year always brings to mind a sense of accountability, reviewing the year and planning for the near future. Capricorn energy gives form and structure to whatever you are focusing on. This energy invites you to find the balance between structure and flow. Many people are realizing that the old structures may not be as sound or solid as they had originally believed them to be, personally, professionally and globally. And though Capricorn prefers the traditional, old and familiar, we must acknowledge that the old ways no longer work for who and where we are today.

This energy is wonderful for a little self-examination and taking action on your own behalf. Look at your habits, home situation, work or anything else that is important to you and look at how you’ve gotten to where you are. What kind of choices led you to here & now? This is a good time to look around and see how you can conserve what is useful and release that which is no longer relevant for you going forward. It’s also a good energy for organizing & clearing the decks, so to speak, of things that have piled up but still need to be dealt with (or released altogether). You may be feeling very practical, possibly selfish, but it’s actually self-preservation.

This is a 20-year cycle that asks us to follow our Truth & Purpose and revise it as we go.

I believe we are having an *energetic exchange* when we connect and I always want it to be stimulating, enlightening, uplifting & reassuring in this crazy, transitional time in Earth’s Story. We’re all in this together!

This activation can cause self-doubt, self-delusion and an overall confusion that seems to be sourced within or self-directed. It’s only temporary, this is just the Universe’s way of slowing you down so you can see where your goals may have been unrealistic or based on flights of fancy. If your energy is low and you’re feeling challenged to see the bright side of things, it is better to just time-out, rest & replenish (if possible) and most of all, do not initiate any grand plans as you are not really seeing things as they truly are at this time. Luckily, this is a pretty short-lived activation.
