7/26 • Saturn Retro in ARIES (until 12/10):
As we approach the sacred threshold of Saturn’s Retrograde in Aries, we find ourselves at a powerful turning point in the Wheel of Time. This is no ordinary passage, it is a bridge between worlds, between cycles and between who we have been & who we are becoming. As always, Saturn, the Great Teacher, Timekeeper & Lord of Karma, returns to remind you that you are responsible for your Self, your choices & the reality you co-create in the world around you. Saturn moves slowly and with purpose, taking 28-30 years to complete its sacred round through the Signs. It spends about 2-3 years in each sign, carving a path of maturity, accountability & self-mastery. This year marks its first full year in Aries, where it will ultimately initiate a new 30-year cycle of reality & purpose for all beings. This is an important Seed Time. A sacred pause. A chance to slow down, review the ground that you have walked and the reality that you have lived over the last 7-14-21-28 years. You can use this Retrograde to clarify your inner alignment before taking bold new action. The terrain is shifting within & without and Saturn’s Retrograde this year is your personal invitation to tend to the roots of your own identity, reality & purpose.
When Saturn Retrogrades, it calls us inward. This is time to return to the soil of your being, when you slow down & assess the foundation of your life and your inner authority to design it according to your own true purpose. Where are the structures & foundations strong for you? Where are the cracks starting to show? Where are you still carrying karmic weight from an old chapter that is ready to be laid to rest? From July-Dec 2026, we are slowing down in Aries, the fire of initiation & independent identity. This liminal space offers both grounding & illumination. As Saturn reviews the last 6-months to a year, you are given an opportunity to clarify the new direction, new identity & new work that you will embark on going forward.
We have spent the last few years gestating a New Vision while Saturn swam through deep waters of Pisces. We have been dreaming new dreams, dissolving old structures & feeling into what is possible. But now Saturn has entered Aries and it is time to act on that dream and make all new choices & decisions going forward. It will be time to officially commit soon, which will require you to embody the new Self and begin building a life that reflects your true essence, identity & purpose. This Retrograde is your last sacred pause before that emergence.
Saturn in Aries brings us face to face with the Self that is raw, undiluted & ready to blaze a new trail. Aries governs your identity, independence, inner warrior & your instinctual drive to begin, to take that first step on a new path. It is about you, your path, purpose & power to take the lead in your own life. With Saturn here, we are asked to get serious about who we are becoming and to take full responsibility for the life we are building and committing to at this time.
On the collective level, this is a call to self-sovereignty. The outer systems are shifting or crumbling altogether. Institutions are unstable. Leadership structures are being redefined. And as those collective frameworks wobble and fall away, Saturn in Aries reminds us: the only sustainable way forward is through empowered individuals who are clear on their own purpose and grounded in their inner authority. We are not being called to wait for the world to save us. We are being called to save ourselves through right action, conscious choice & a deep commitment to a clear truth & clean purpose. When we each step into that integrity and when we build lives rooted in our own inner authority, then we can naturally lead & uplift our communities, our circles & the world.
Saturn has visited Aries many times before: 1908-11, 1937-39, 1967-69, 1996-99. Each of those periods reflected major collective shifts in leadership, identity, social movements & initiations into a new sense of Self. Look back at those years, especially the most recent ones, and reflect on your own patterns & initiations during those times. What lessons came to call? What began or ended for you? What cycles are repeating now? This Retrograde will highlight where you still carry unresolved stories or identities from those earlier Saturn cycles. It will also illuminate the terrain of your next 30-year journey, where you are being called to mature, where new responsibilities are taking root, and how you are meant to lead in your own unique way, which is evolving.
While Saturn is Retrograde in Aries, this is when you assess your inner architecture & outer foundations. What are you building your life on? Are your motivations pure? Are your desires aligned with your Soul’s calling? Where are you still operating from old fears or inherited identities that no longer serve? As with all cycles, presence & preparation is everything. Take this time seriously. Make space for solitude, visioning & ritual. Sit with your Ancestors and feel into the bones of your life. Listen for the new life, idea, identity or purpose that wants to emerge in the near future. This is your opportunity to choose the path you wish to walk for the next 7-years at a minimum.
You are the architect of your own reality and Saturn is your sacred support & protection of that reality and it is one that demands maturity, intention, patience & integrity, but also blesses all those who show up to do the work with grace, with actual tangible results. May this Retrograde journey guide you back to your essential Self, inner authority & true identity that is ready to emerge. May you listen deeply, move slowly & prepare consciously for what comes next. And may Saturn’s wisdom remind you: the future is not fixed, it is forged through the choices we make and the reality we feed, one sacred step at a time.
7/26 • North Node Enters AQUARIUS (until 3.26.2028):
At this stage of our collective evolution, humanity is being called to reconcile, master & integrate the wisdom of the mind with the wisdom of the heart. Across generations, cultures & lifetimes, we have explored both paths extensively. There have been eras dominated by logic, science, technology & intellectual advancement, where progress was measured by innovation, efficiency and our ability to understand the mechanics of the world around us. These cycles cultivated reason, objectivity and the capacity to think beyond personal concerns toward a larger collective vision.
At other times, our focus shifted toward family, community, creativity & matters of the heart. We learned through love, loss, relationships and the deeply personal experiences that give life meaning. Entire generations have been shaped by devotion to family, care for children, protection of community and the cultivation of emotional bonds. Yet these experiences have also brought grief, separation, heartbreak & loss, leaving emotional imprints that continue to influence how we connect, trust & love one another today.
Now we find ourselves at a profound crossroads between personal fulfillment & collective responsibility. The tension between freedom & commitment, individuality & belonging, personal desires & humanitarian concerns is becoming impossible to ignore. We see it reflected everywhere, in our families, communities, institutions & social movements. As a collective, we are being challenged to redefine what it means to belong without sacrificing individuality, and what it means to be free without disconnecting from one another. We can still love each other even when we disagree. The old models that demanded we choose one or the other are no longer sufficient for where we are headed.
The lesson before us is not about choosing the mind over the heart or the heart over the mind. It is about integrating both forms of intelligence. We are learning that logic without compassion becomes cold, while compassion without discernment becomes unsustainable. We are being called to cultivate what I often refer to as passionate detachment: the ability to care deeply without controlling outcomes, to love fully without possessing and to remain connected without losing our own center. True freedom & true intimacy are not opposites. They are complementary forces when they are rooted in authenticity, mutual respect & conscious choice.
Our collective growth now depends on transforming family into friendship & friendship into family. We are learning to build communities that honor individuality while supporting genuine connection. We are being asked to create new models of relationship, leadership & collaboration that allow for growth, diversity & evolution while maintaining a sense of belonging & shared purpose. This is the bridge between intellectual curiosity & heartfelt compassion, between objective awareness & emotional intelligence, between visionary thinking & creative self-expression.
Ultimately, this is a collective initiation into wholeness. Humanity is learning how to honor personal freedom while nurturing meaningful connection. We are discovering how to contribute our unique gifts while remaining devoted to the well-being of the larger community. As we learn to bring the head & heart into alignment, we become capable of creating a future rooted not only in knowledge & innovation, but also in wisdom, compassion & love. That integration is the medicine of our time and the foundation of the world we are here to build together.
7/27 • Sun (energy & identity) ~oppose~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
This energy can often create very intense encounters with others, possibly revealing things about you which you may not have been aware of, misunderstood or have chosen to ignore thus far. This energy provokes power struggles and/or challenges with authority figures where you may have to stand up for yourself. It can also may make you more aggressive, intense or over-bearing than usual, creating or attracting these kinds of situations. If there are any problems within a relationship (personal or professional), this energy will force things out into the open. It will be much easier on you, if you can open a dialogue with the express purpose of clearing the air and proceeding to a new level in your relationship, by choice. Any aspect of your life that you have been “just getting by” will now DEMAND attention; you won’t be able to do anything less than a complete overhaul or replacement (this can be ANY area of your life but the Aquarius House in particular during years 2024-2044 due to Pluto’s extended stay). Let’s put it this way, any time Pluto is involved, there is usually complete destruction of the current (x-y-z) to make room for the new & improved. This will be by the Universe’s definition, but you do get a vote, you can consciously choose too. Ultimately, this is a good, growth & development type of energy/activation, pushing you to the next level … ready or not, here you come so use the energies available to strengthen, fortify & prepare for your own personal transformation. Also consider your drives & direction about 6-months ago, and where you want to end up 6-months from now. This is an integration, that means a time when the depths of your Soul Self can commune & bond with your surface, personality, conscious Self. Like the conjunction about 6-months ago, this is about how you direct your personal power on your own behalf, and often, breakdowns precede the breakthroughs.
7/27 • Sun (energy & illumination) ~trine~ Neptune (spirituality & boundaries):
This energy triggers your idealistic, altruistic inclinations, but remember that help has to be invited. But if you have the energy to share & to spare, then dedicate your Self to something greater than you. Choose a cause to support or help those less fortunate for the sheer pleasure of giving. If your energy is low at this time, it is better directed inward. If you can, take some extra time in intentional solitude, praying, meditating and connecting to Spirit this week, you will be rewarded with deep revelations & mystical discoveries within you. It’s a great time to do divinations, ritual or ceremony if you’re into that. Your intuition is heightened also, so pay attention to any ‘messages’ that come through or to you. Try to use this energy to reflect on where you are and dream a little about where you want to be, mentally, spiritually and physically in 6-months to a year from now.
7/27 • Sun (energy & focus) ~sextile~ Uranus (freedom & individuality):
This activation serves as a gateway to a deeper sense of personal authenticity and awakens the potential for deep, profound insights that come through mundane, everyday affairs this week. Whenever Uranus is in the mix, you can expect “ah-ha moments” to abound, those sudden bursts of inspiration or unexpected clarity that have the power to shift perspectives & stimulate new consciousness. These revelations hover at the edge of your awareness, waiting to be invited in and harnessed for your own greater good. While eventually, you will need to ground these breakthroughs in tangible forms, for now, the energy encourages a deeper exploration of the possibilities bubbling at this time. Where in your life could you benefit from a dose of freedom & liberation? How might you infuse more Light into your own Being, rhythms or daily existence? Moreover, this energy fosters a commitment to more conscious, authentic living, where pretense becomes untenable, both for yourself and others. Be mindful that truth can unsettle those who prefer to maintain the status quo, but the shadow of this energy is selfishness & rebelliousness. However, rather than resisting change, embrace it as a sign of growth & evolution.
7/29 • Venus (values & priorities) ~square~ Mars (desire & passion):
Your Inner Sacred Feminine & Masculine are urging you beyond your comfort zone and into uncharted territories. It is a moment to recalibrate how you give & receive and recalibrating your state of being versus doing. Understanding the Signs & Elements is beneficial for consciously navigating this activation. Tune into the direction of your personal power and recognize what naturally attracts or repels you. Whenever Venus & Mars converge, the focus pertains to your relationships, encompassing both personal & professional, private & public. Squares introduce necessary tension to stimulate action, facilitate change & activate new choices. Individually, it is a period calling for growth, change, and the integration of your values & priorities (Venus) with your desires & passion (Mars). Moreover, on a deeper level, this activation can stir sexual energy, given its connection to creation and this combination of masculine & feminine energies. In a joyful, healthy relationship, this energy favors expressing love in a physical way. Annually, these two celestial bodies converge to initiate a new cycle and expand your life & consciousness. It is an opportune moment to imbue your personal narrative with an expanded vision & more personal authenticity. Over the past year, you have accumulated valuable lessons & experiences, and now you are encouraged to assimilate & apply this newfound wisdom. This potent alignment amplifies your individual sense of Self and propels you toward greater personal growth. It signifies a transition to the next stage of your journey, infusing you with the optimism & confidence needed to explore new avenues or acquire fresh knowledge. At its zenith, this energy sparks a powerful drive to excel, while at its nadir, it may manifest as arrogance or self-righteousness. With this annual energy, be alert to opportunities for expanding your consciousness and improving your circumstances through your own ideas, choices, efforts & expertise.
7/29 • AQUARIUS Full Moon:
This Full Moon asks: What have you become “too” attached to? And/or what have you become “too” detached from (and need to reconnect)? We have spent recent months navigating the Mutable energy of thought & ideas (Gemini), along with the Cardinal energy of action & choices (Cancer), whose theme continues now but the energy has become decidedly Fixed and it is time to release or anchor something … in your Heart (Leo). What ideas have you gotten going that need some tending to make stronger & more viable?
This Lunation may illuminate or activate revelations of when, where and with whom (mostly Self) that you have not been completely authentic. Start with the *motivations* ~ if/when they are pure, clean & neutral, then being authentic becomes way less challenging. Now more than ever, we must be congruent with our Inner & Outer Natures in order to thrive, prosper & evolve. When you are not authentic, then things become much more challenging. If we are “serving two masters” (or incongruent on one or many levels) ~ meaning: having the private side of your nature be too drastically different from that which you present to the world ~ then that creates more challenges, blockages & delays until you get into more personal alignment.
This Full Moon also helps you see where you may have become too rigid, unyielding and attached to “your way” or the “old way” ~ neither of which will work going forward. Status quo is not the way to go, any Aquarius Moon wants you to tap into your own unique genius and offer your contribution in a new or different way. If you are following trends or other people, you will be misled. It is time to evaluate your own social circles ~ both virtual and in reality. What kind of people do you call “friend”? Do you have more acquaintances than true friends? Is that the way you like it? We are in a time when we are upgrading our individual self-expression on deep levels and anything that feels *inauthentic* is getting released with this Full Moon. We grow & evolve and the things & people that we are attracted to or repelled by changes over time as well. Let’s not be stagnant but use every Full Moon to do some personal clearing so that we can lighten up & shine more Light! Use this Full Moon to release any inauthenticity, lack of self-love or rigid attachment of any kind. It’s also good to tap into your body’s wisdom when things are decidedly “mental” around you. This is the lunation to align your Head & Heart so if you have felt disconnected lately, take a time-out to re-connect!
