For people new to the community, you can join my eList HERE to be kept in the loop. I usually send out the FEBRUARY Monthly Missive during the first week of each month, but if/when things come up in-between, you may get the occasional additional email but that is rare.

February kicks off with the Aquarius Gate of Power, which is when we begin to stir slowly from our Winter Solstice conception point. Depending on where you are in your own timeline, this season is good for offering your unique contribution in a new way or doing the necessary purification via Fire & Water so that you can. That means your emotions & spiritual practices may need some attention or a new set up so that they can support you & your creations in the new year.

The beautiful thing about this timing is Mercury enters Pisces and prepares for the first Retrograde of the year and we’ll be swimming in these waters all the way to Spring Equinox. Mercury in Pisces activates our imaginations, for better or worse. Remember that using your imagination to imagine the worst-case scenarios is a poor use of this powerful gift. The imagination is another way that your Soul talks to you and when anything is moving through Pisces, especially the Messenger who naturally moves so freely between realms, we have access to some potent creativity & new visions for the future. Take advantage of this energy to clarify what New Vision you want to step into as we approach the first Retrograde of the new year when you will have to pause, reflect & re-think things in your Pisces House/Area of Life.

The best thing about this energy is that it is totally easier to commune with your Angels, Ancestors, Orishas & Animal Spirit Guides when the planet of communication is in the sign of other realms, imagination, creativity, dreams & mysticism. It’s the best time for Divinations and consulting with your personal Council to find out what will be supported throughout the rest of this year. One final note, this is a really good time to recalibrate your Mental Boundaries – meaning: watch your input & output levels and bring your mental health back into balance, especially before a Retrograde that is going to ask you to rewire how your instincts & intuition, how your thoughts & feelings all have to work together to guide you properly.

Saturn makes its final entrée into Aries and I am calling it: Rooting the Flame – Reclaiming Your Fire & Activating New Forms, which is what we are supported to do this year and next! As Saturn, the Great Teacher and Keeper of Time, crosses the threshold into Aries, the Sign of pure essence & primal beginnings, we stand at the edge of a new cycle of selfhood, freedom & independence, if we can be fully responsible for our choices and present in our exchanges with others. Saturn now arrives in Aries for the first time since 1996-99 in order to refine that Self, not to diminish it—but to sculpt it into something authentic, resilient & rooted in spiritual maturity (gained from navigating the last 2-3 years in Pisces). Saturn in Aries says: Do the inner work. Own & contain your fire. Define your own reality. This is the Soul’s invitation to start again, stronger – not from innocence or naivete, but from your own earned wisdom.

Saturn in Aries is not about doing what’s been done before because this World Point activates all new territory on individual, social & collective levels. It is about stepping forward with courage, integrity and a willingness to build something entirely new—starting with your own identity & purpose. Aries energy sparks revolutions—it starts fires. But Saturn tempers that fire, giving it a container, direction & sustainability. This is the initiation of a new cycle of reality, where the foundation of life undergoes a profound rebirth & restructuring. It is not the time to cling to what was, but to face what is. Saturn’s presence is not here to indulge our fantasies or illusions, but to guide us gently & firmly into alignment with truth. The truth of who you are, of how you live, and of what you are committed to becoming. This is a reality-check and a time to stabilize a new foundation and birth a new reality, individually, socially & collectively.

This month, we get the first of five Eclipses in Leo/Aquarius over the next couple of years. This first one is going to help to seed completely new patterns & cycles of being an individual contributor to a larger community. Every year, we use this time to laser away the non-essential and anything blocking the new vision for the year from taking root. What is most important to you this year – 2026? Are you working on the new role that you want to play going forward, at this new level of maturity and higher level of consciousness? And what kind of communities do you want to be a part of? And contribute your energy to?

These are all good questions to ask annually, but now we add the Eclipse Cycle to the mix and you will have to do some research & reflection on previous Leo/Aquarius Eclipse years: 2018-19 – 2008-09 – 1998-2000 – 1989-91. We have Eclipses twice a year, every year, so there is always energy for change. What shifts along the way is the Sign Lessons & Expressions. We are currently still navigating Virgo/Pisces Eclipses but 2026 is what I call an “overlap year” when we deal with both so we will talk more about these on the Leo/Aquarius Nodes + Eclipses call scheduled for Aug 20th.

For our purposes this month, it increases the energy of new beginnings in our Aquarius Dept which will have much larger and more far-reaching effects than just this year. Eclipses are considered “course correctors” – whether you are a little (or a lot) off-course – and they naturally interrupt the light, which allows us to break-to-realign wherever they fall in the chart. Generally, any Solar Eclipse activates your physical body, while the Lunar Eclipse will activate your emotional body, but together, your spiritual body should go to a completely new level. The lessons this month will center around love & objectivity or the balance of attachment & detachment for you, personally.

Finally, one of our more important & rare alignments is Saturn connecting with Neptune at Zero Aries, The World Point that we tap into annually on Spring Equinox, but now it has much larger implications and far-reaching reverberations beyond just this year. The last time Saturn & Neptune came together in a conjunction/initiation was in Capricorn in 1989, and the last time they met in Aries was in 1703. Either way, we are stepping into unfamiliar territory. This alignment begins a new 35–37 year cycle, and because it occurs in Aries, it carries the energy of a true clean slate. This is not about repairing the past — it is about defining what comes next, from the ground up.

Saturn, the planet of reality, purpose, responsibility, structure & foundation, is meeting Neptune, the planet of dreams, spirituality, mysticism & alternate realities, to initiate an entirely new cycle on individual, social & collective levels of life. No one is exempt. This is a moment of convergence when what is imagined must become embodied, and what is real must be infused with soul, spirit, depth & meaning. There is a combination of things happening here. On one hand, individually, we would be happier & better off if we would take more personal responsibility, make more choices that ensure self-preservation & be more proactive about our own dreams & desires. On the other hand, collectively, we are deluded, confused, and for those who cling, drowning with a past that is permanently & completely dissolving at this time.

Individually, this cycle asks us to take radical personal responsibility for our lives, our own energy & our biggest dreams. The medicine here is self-preservation & conscious choice. Ask yourself daily: What strengthens me? What depletes me? Choose practices that support your nervous system and your physical body — consistent sleep, nourishing food, time in nature & movement that builds strength & endurance. Pair this with intentional dreaming, journaling your desires, tracking intuitive insights, meditating with a single question, or creating a vision altar that anchors your long-term intentions – would all be good things to consider this month. Dreams need containers if they are going to survive this cycle.

Collectively, we are witnessing the collapse of outdated systems, identities & agreements. Many are clinging to what is dissolving & feeling overwhelmed, confused or disoriented. This is not a time to overextend yourself or carry more than your fair share. A new collective dream can only be born if individuals are resourced, grounded & clear. Strengthen your personal, individual systems first. Simplify your life. Reduce unnecessary obligations. Create rhythms that allow you to recover as much energy as you are investing in work, creativity & others. If the Universe moves in an expand-and-contract rhythm, then Saturn & Neptune together mark a reset point — a pause where we reorient before moving forward again. This is a powerful time for a personal audit of your own life. What structures are worth keeping? What beliefs, habits or commitments have lost their vitality? Let what is empty fall away so something meaningful can take its place.

On a personal level, this alignment may activate extremes within & around you. Saturn wants definition, discipline & manifestation. Neptune wants surrender, intuition & trust in the unseen. The work is to practice both. Ground your mystical insights through practical action: write things down, set timelines, make small daily commitments. At the same time, soften rigid plans by leaving space for rest, creativity & intuition. Shadow Neptune creates mental fog, escapism & confusion. Shadow Saturn creates fear, doubt & pessimism. So, together, they can drain your vitality if you are not conscious. Commit to daily spiritual & physical practices like breathwork, prayer, journaling, strength training, walking, or grounding rituals — that keep you present, responsive & embodied rather than exhausted & reactive.

On a social level, this cycle demands clearer boundaries & more intentional participation. Be mindful of what & who you give your energy to. Define your role in group spaces rather than defaulting into over-responsibility or invisibility. Maintain consistent health practices so you can stay clear & discerning while navigating collective stress, misinformation & emotional contagion.

On a collective level, this is the birth of a new cycle of Time — a resetting of the clock. We are not just witnessing change; we are actively shaping the dream that will carry us forward. The question is not what is ending, but what are you willing to embody, sustain & protect as the new beginning takes form?
