9/27 • Mars Enters LEO (until Nov 25th):
It will probably feel good to have Mars shift from Cancer into Leo so look for that expansion and uplifted spirit for the next month or two while Mars lights up the Leo Department of your life. Mars entering Leo is an opportunity to get creative and have some fun, no matter how challenging life may be in the moment. This energy helps you magnetize your desires when you shine the Light of your Authentic Self. This is the placement of knowing who you are, who you want to be perceived to be and how you want to express, experience and obtain your Heart’s Desire. If you’ve been over-accommodating to others, giving until your exhausted, then this energy will give you permission to pull inward to do some much-needed pampering & self-care. Reconnect with your true value & self-worth and know that when you express your true self, you magnetize abundance, support & protection. The Shadow of this, of course, is ego, looking the part but not being the part and expecting others to change before you will even budge. It’s not time for that! It’s time to lead by example!

9/28 • Sun (energy & focus) ~trine~ Uranus (individuality & change):
This energy is wonderful for a little self-examination and taking action on your own behalf. Take a close look at your own routines, home environment, work, or any other significant areas in your life. Reflect on the decisions that have brought you to this point. It is an apt moment to survey your surroundings and determine how to retain what serves you well while releasing what no longer aligns with your future path. This phase encourages organization & decluttering, addressing anything that requires attention or letting it go altogether. While you may feel exceptionally practical or self-focused, it is actually a form of self-preservation, which is essential.

9/30 • Mercury Enters SCORPIO (until Dec 6th):
Mercury in Scorpio takes us beneath the surface. This is not the energy of casual thinking or polite conversation, it asks us to investigate, question, research & uncover what is actually going on underneath our thoughts, words, choices & perceptions. The deeper question is: What have you learned about your own personal power to create your world? What mental attitudes, beliefs or stories have shaped the reality that that you are experiencing and which of them have simply run their course? Scorpio understands that something must sometimes die before something new can live and Mercury asks us to consciously participate in that process. We are conceiving a new way of thinking, perceiving & processing what we have learned over the last quarter.

This is powerful territory for Shadow Work because Mercury in Scorpio gives us permission to become the Inner Detective, not to judge what we find but to gather information. Pay attention to your own self-talk, assumptions, fears, obsessions, language and the stories you repeat about your Self & your life. What unconscious ideas are influencing your thinking? Whose voices are still living inside your head? What are you allowing into your Mental Body through what you read, watch, listen to and discuss? This is an opportunity to reclaim the power of your mind and return to your own creative ideas.

Mercury in Scorpio also invites Soul-level communication. This can be a powerful time to connect with your deepest emotions, investigate subjects that have previously felt taboo or uncomfortable & allow yourself to acknowledge your own raw truth. What you uncover may not always be pretty, but truth has a way of liberating energy once it is brought into conscious awareness. The very thing that you have been avoiding may contain information, wisdom or power that you can now reclaim. Scorpio is the realm of transformation, so we are not simply digging up darkness, we are uncovering buried treasure, untapped resources & hidden potential that can be redirected into something useful.

And because Scorpio deals with both creation & destruction, language becomes especially powerful under this influence. Words can create realities, but they can also reinforce patterns that keep us trapped. Notice the language that you use when you speak about your Self, your relationships, body, money, sexuality, creative power and/or your future. What needs to be released altogether from your vocabulary because it no longer represents who you are becoming? Perhaps it is time to renew your language and practice saying things in new or different ways or tell a new story.

10/2 • Mercury (ideas, thoughts & concepts) ~square~ Mars (desires, actions & choices):

This activation can be a tough one for some. If your beliefs are out of alignment with your actions, if you are not self-aware or you act-out unconsciously, being selfish or childish, then watch out, because squares test you to grow & change in some way. Often, this also means that you are suppressing your own nature in some way, which is never really a good idea. When you suppress your Soul, it can make your human more sensitive or defensive, taking things personally as a threat or challenge. If you catch your Self feeling irritable for no apparent reason this week, try to step back and gain some perspective before responding to either your own thoughts or another’s words. Mercury & Mars getting together, in this challenging way, can provoke debates and, in some people, actual fights, so be careful. The deeper aspect of this activation is that some part of you wants to express, perhaps in a new way, and your monkey-mind has got you all off track. Mars demands that you know who you are and what you want, and is the Sacred Masculine part of you, which is supposed to hold good boundaries, protect you and negotiate on your behalf in the world. If you know something that you are not acting on, this can be frustrating. If you are acting in ways that are not allowing you to think things through, this too can cause accidents, problems & delays. It is best to pull inward until you are clear. And also keep in mind, you may not be out of alignment in the above ways, but those around you may be and will likely have no context for what they are feeling and therefore, become indiscriminate with their own choices, words & actions. Self-preservation is not selfish but essential at this time.

10/2 • Mercury (ideas & thinking) ~square~ Pluto (rebirth & transformation):
This energy carries a robust & challenging force. At its peak potential, it invites you to embark on a profound journey of self-exploration, uncovering hidden depths within your psyche and gaining invaluable insights to inform your path forward. Delve beneath the surface to unearth core motivations and decipher the hidden or deeper meanings behind your decisions. While the revelations may surpass your expectations, trust in the wisdom of the Universe’s timing. Remain focused & guided by your internal compass, disregarding external judgments or opinions. Be aware of any temptation to fixate on one thing or attempt to persuade others to adopt your viewpoint, as this is a waste of your precious time, energy & resources. Instead, prioritize your own personal growth & individual direction, trusting that your own journey will naturally inspire and enlighten those attuned to your wavelength. This is a personal transformation of your thinking or your creative ideas, when you realize that something has to change or end and you may have to make a choice or decision.

10/3 • Mars (desires & choices) ~oppose~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
This energy is higher will versus lower will, an opposition which always brings tension and the need to balance & integrate whatever your dealing with at the time. It’s not a good time to be selfish, go it alone or let ego lead. Something you did not consider may become obvious and force you to change in some fundamental way. You may have to decide if the path you are on at this time is really going to lead you to the destination that you originally chose. If you have been clear about your desires and willing to sacrifice, work hard (and consistently) this energy will activate a turning point. You will have access to energy & passion that propels you forward when based in love & light. However, if your ego has been leading, you may find yourself at an impasse. This energy is all about power and with that power comes great responsibility. Be very careful of abusing that power as it will likely backfire on you.

10/3 • Venus Retro 8* SCORPIO (until Nov 13th):
Venus Retrogrades every 18-months, which means that your personal values & priorities shift on a fairly regular basis. Getting a rhythm to this, internally, will help you flow with your own evolution with less fear or anxiety and much more trust in the natural order of things, which includes change. In addition, she goes back to the same place every 8-years, indicating a need to deepen our dedication in that Area of Life/House. Venus’ larger 8-year cycle brings monumental shifts around what & who is truly important to you and it activates the lesson associated with the Sign that it falls in. The current Venus soul work is going to be very personal for those with Taurus/Scorpio and Leo/Aquarius activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 8-years ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top recently (or they will soon).

Consider this 5-mo period (Aug-Dec 2026) a literal & figurative upgrade to how you negotiate your needs within relationships and how you lead in your professional life. It is a chance to renegotiate with those who are closest to you and share the evolution of your values & priorities to make sure that everyone is on the same page going forward.

Venus Retro in Scorpio will help you identify & release any self-sabotage, illusions, delusions or inner-darkness that is delaying your good, misguiding your power or blocking your creativity. It’s time to distill your motivations back to their original essence & intentions. Define your terms. What is love? abundance? beauty? life? What do you want? and why do you want it? How will you create it? or magnetize it in? Scorpio is the energy & lesson of karma & creation, holding us all accountable for that which we bring in to being. And reminding us that willing & honorable sacrifice clears a space for magic to occur and invites the Ancestors & invisible realms to contribute & assist.

Venus in Scorpio reminds you that you are not the Source of power, but merely a channel or vehicle of its expression in form. As a human with free will & choice, it helps to also be responsible & aware anytime Scorpio is kicking. Releasing deeper issues, clearing a space to plant new seeds of potential, doing the 3D/visible work, then stepping back and allowing the invisible power of Source energy to breathe life into your intentions ~ that is the best use of this time & energy. It can be intense and often challenging, but if you are able to push through the discomfort and face any dark Truths being revealed at this time, you will be cleansed, lighter and better able to direct your power and shape-shift as needed for living on a planet that is based on the Life/Death/Life Cycle and a natural rhythm.
