This energy invites you to trust your intuition and follow Its guidance as you initiate a new cycle of creativity & spirituality. If you are currently focused on your bigger aspirations, it offers a surge of energy & imagination. It is time to broaden your perspective and indulge in some playful or artistic exploration. Rather than pushing your physical limits, engage your imagination fully with exploring or dreaming about the future. How well do you do with your action, fearlessness, passion, and desire nature? If you resist these aspects of your nature, this energy will be tough to navigate. It reminds us that effectiveness is more important than speed in most cases, so watch what gets you fired up and direct it consciously, by being pro-active rather than re-active, use your imagination every chance you get and embrace opportunities to improvise. Venus in its home sign of Taurus brings our attention to the body, pleasure, sensuality, the experience of being in a body and all the possibilities inherent in that. It draws our attention to Mother Earth and the Garden or rare, blue gem that She is and how much we need to value that as sacred and precious. It is also time to double-down on clarifying your own values & priorities in real-time. When she is in Libra, she is equally powerful but she is also more focused on the essence or invisible link of kinship that we share with all life. It is an idea or an ideal, with Libra. When she is in Taurus, it is more the reality that we are experiencing in our bodies, where is the feast or famine in your life, in general? Let’s address any famines or neglect of essential parts of our nature, which is finding the body to be a pleasurable experience versus one of pain, fear or frustration. It’s time to cultivate your life like a Garden, where you plant a diverse number of plants that produce food and flowers – sustenance & beauty – that would be the substance that you take into your body as well as the beauty that you radiate out from your heart-center. This is a great time to re-connect with what gives you a sense of belonging & fulfillment, nourishment & pleasure.

In the cosmic dance of celestial energies, this planetary activation heralds a profound and potent moment, demanding our attention and urging us to embark on a transformative journey. Its influence reverberates intensely, compelling us to venture beyond the familiar realms into uncharted territories, particularly in the spheres of relationships and finances. Prepare for an immersion into the depths of emotional resonance, as this activation sparks encounters and exchanges with others that, sometimes, unearth insecurities and stir hidden fears within oneself or within the dynamics shared between you. Stability finds itself absent from the equation, signaling an imminent and inevitable wave of change. The rumblings of this shift may have already grazed your awareness, yet now it stands fully present, offering an invitation to act with foresight or face the repercussions of delaying the inevitable. As I often profess, the adage of “Pay now or pay double later” echoes all through this transit. Despite the natural inclination to clutch onto familiarity, resist that temptation. Pluto, as is its nature, intensifies all that it touches. Embracing the necessary purification and embracing change stands as the wise choice, alleviating the potential for greater discomfort that comes when you resist Pluto’s purification & transformative powers. Activate your inner compass, discern your renewed values, and align with your truest priorities of here & now. In choosing change consciously, you lay the groundwork for a new & different future, free from the shackles of the old or an opportunity for something new that resonates more harmoniously with your natural essence and current aspirations.
4/30 :: Mars Enters ARIES (until June 8th):
Last time Mars was in Aries was May/June 2022 and I suspect that whatever was “up” at that time, in terms of your desire nature, your choices or your inner Sacred Masculine may have given you some clues as to where you are strong and where you are weak in that aspect of your Being. Now, it is entering this zone of renewal for the next 2-months. It is time to check-in with how you negotiate on your own behalf, how you get your ideas in the world and how you hold good boundaries in your life. You may want to check the Area of Life (your Aries House) being activated & initiated. In general, when Mars returns to his home base in Aries, it reboots the larger 24-year cycle on a social/collective level too. What is up now, in terms of your desire nature, individual needs & ways of going about getting them met – is initiating a new cycle. Who you are and what you want has evolved, at a minimum, in the last 2-year Mars Cycle but possibly even larger 24-year cycle.
Also, we cannot underestimate the power of the Warrior Spirit that both Mars & Aries represent most of the time. Let’s channel this fiery energy into something useful & relevant and not burn ourselves out before we’ve figured out who we are and what we really want. I’m going to suggest that you activate your Inner Spiritual Warrior that is a fearless leader and compassionate lover of LIFE that leads you to your own Higher expression of Truth & Purpose. I believe that we can be proactive on our own behalf and get ahead of this energy by really asking the hard questions about your own Nature and activating your healing or integration process there. I personally am going to do some digging and research into my own patterns around sex and anger, which will also come up for many of you. So again, if you are more conscious about it, the less chance of hurting yourself or anyone else if/when these things come up, over the next 22-months. This is ultimately about your independence & freedom too – what does that mean for you and look like for you? Let’s call in a new vision – on micro-levels: who you are and what you want – your path & purpose at this time … and on macro-levels: what it means to be a contributing citizen and a responsible adult in a global family.

5/2 :: Pluto Retro in AQUARIUS (until Oct 11th):
Pluto in Aquarius 2023-2044 :: It is going to take a year or two to fully enter Aquarius so this is a process but here is what we have to look forward to. This is a Collective Planet that moves in an erratic orb, spending 10-35 years in a Sign. As of the 1980’s, when Pluto was in its home Sign of Scorpio, it was at the short-end, spending about 10-12 years there revealing the Underworld of sex, death, power, money & resources. Lots of “power behind the power” during that decade that got exposed. Then in the 1990’s, it moved through Sagittarius, revealing all the erosion & toxicity of the Vatican and organized religion went through a complete upheaval. Then Pluto started extending its stay (in Sag for 13-years). Then extending it again by spending 16-years in Capricorn during 2008-2024, where we are right now, where we have witnessed the crumble of institutions, government, health care, education and most social systems that are now having to be re-imagined & reborn. In Capricorn, we see the price of giving away our power & inner authority to outer structures or systems. So now, moving into 20-years of Aquarius is shifting the purification & transformative process onto humanity, technology & the future.
This is a mixed blessing, as with all alignments, there is a Light & Shadow Expression. The blessing of Pluto moving through Aquarius is the mass-awakening of humanity on some level. The old ways no longer work and where we have been trapped in *survival mode*, we now have to consider the future of the next 7-generations. Our choices directly affect them and power is shifting from the old school, controlling patriarchy – the few who want to horde the resources & control the many to the new school, progressive, future-oriented Aquarius that wants more community, collaboration & equal distribution of resources to those who need it most. We get super-inventive & creative when shifting big cycles like this.
Can you feel it? In 2020, Jupiter & Saturn kicked off a new 20-year cycle in Aquarius and a 200-year cycle of the Air Element. In 2022, Venus & Mars kicked off a new 2-year cycle in Aquarius of integration of our Sacred Feminine & Masculine that is now more progressive & collaborative. Now, Pluto moves into Aquarius kicking off its own kind of 250-year cycle. This feels like on-the-ground entrance into the 2500-year Aquarian Age. At a minimum, Pluto’s ingress will seal the deal of utter transformation & rebirth in our own Aquarius Depts, as individuals. But remember, this is a low ‘n slow kind of cookin’ that Pluto will do over the next 20-years. As with any healing or transformation, we have to purify first, then we can heal, then we can restore, then we can fortify – it is a PROCESS.
Another blessing of Pluto in Aquarius is that we may shift to a higher form of communal living where we share resources and are responsible for our own communities. This progressive energy sees the value & longevity possible when we share the work, as well as the rewards. There is value to offering your unique contribution and working together as a team for the greater good but for the powers that be, who want clones & drones instead of critical, creative thinking human beings, this is threatening. And nothing worthwhile is ever easy or simple. This is a radical shift to a new way of working together, using technology to serve its true purpose (not run the world) but of freeing us up to be more creative individuals. This is when our innovation goes through the roof, partly by those breaking the rules and liberating old consciousness but also partly by that old saying that “need is the mother of all invention”. We “need” a new way that is more life-affirming & sustainable. And in order to combat some of the consumption & waste, we are going to have to literally invent new things to help us move forward.
The Shadow side of Pluto in Aquarius is embodied by those who would enslave us with technology, blurring the lines between human nature and the nature of technology. One operates on organic, evolutionary responsiveness and the other is programmed & disconnected from the multi-dimensionality of Earthly existence. How do you “blend” that without annihilating one or the other or both? This is the cold, detached rulers overseeing the minions that they feel entitled to control, exploit & manipulate for personal gain. Pluto in Aquarius over the years, coincides with huge battles over resources, slavery & human trafficking and here we are with this all “up” again. We must be vigilant about preventing another era of global slavery, oppression & manual labor that allows their technologies to continue sucking Mother Earth of Her resources and expanding unabated until they take over. Then, we have altered the organic nature of Earth and Her creatures which naturally inhabit this planet – humanity being one of those creatures.
We, like Mother Earth, are regenerative creatures, however, it takes us some time to go from idea-into-form depending on what you are creating. So let’s use the purifying power of Pluto to distill our Aquarian Dreams back to their original essence – one that is inclusive, sustainable and good for ALL Life on this planet. Let’s lead by example and work together to cultivate thriving communities that work well together and no longer require “overlords” “bosses” or “authority figures” to run our lives for us – we will become self-sustaining – with the help of some technology and whole lot of community!
One last note, this will be particularly intense for any Aquarius/Leo or Taurus/Scorpio energies in your chart so take it easy and pace yourself as transformation is a journey, not a destination. And it is only the beginning of a 20-year journey at that. On Sept 1st – Pluto will still be Retrograde and it will Re-Enter Capricorn to facilitate the closure that is happening throughout the course of 2023-2024, when it will go back and forth over this cusp. So use this Retrograde time to set intentions for purification in the sense that you are supported to strip away the non-essential especially in your Capricorn Dept, which is usually focused on choices & responsibilities, as well as the structure of your life that supports & protects you and the overall stability of whatever Area of Life/House it Rules and Aquarius is usually focused on your individuality & unique contribution – in whatever Area of Life/House it Rules. This is where you should channel your energies and focus to improve for the rest of this year (2024).
5/3 :: Mars (desire & action) ~sextile~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
This energy activates the interplay between your lower will & Higher Will. Mars, representing the Sacred Masculine within, empowers you to act in alignment with your true self and aspirations. Pluto ensures that your actions stem from a place of purity at the soul level, often requiring a shedding of superficial layers accumulated from the previous cycle. Fortunately, this alignment is not fraught with negative implications but rather serves as an opportunity to delve into your deepest desires and address any obstacles hindering their fulfillment. It is crucial to note that individuals who are disconnected from their authentic selves may experience more internal turmoil when Mars & Pluto come together, even in a harmonious aspect like this one. This potent fusion of energy offers a chance for significant progress, yet meaningful advancement also demands conscious effort and perhaps even some kind of personal, conscious sacrifice. With Pluto’s influence, this sacrifice may involve relinquishing preconceived notions and any attachment to the outcome. While your desires will manifest, they may not necessarily materialize in the manner or look like you initially envisioned. Therefore, it is essential to remain attuned to the innate essence & emotional impact of your desires rather than fixating on their appearance or physical form. You always want to set your intentions, do the work, then allow Spirit to breathe LIFE into the vision.
