I am over-the-moon excited about this class with YeYe Luisah Teish! 6/4 ~ Mercury (your thinking) ~conjunct~ Uranus (the Awakener):
It is said that this energy depends on your “normal mental speed” which is not the same as intelligence. If your mind is naturally quick, then you will be downloading more than usual during this Initiation. Uranus acts as a Lightning Bolt that strikes and briefly illuminates an area of your life, in this case, Taurus, a new embodiment for one and all. Ah-ha moments will lead to more strength & stability, but only to the degree that you are consistent & dedicated yourself. If you are in like-hearted circles, the conversations could be really stimulating, unlocking perceptions across the board. If your mind is not naturally quick, then this will be helpful for you as you are more likely to experience awakenings and connections to your own intuition that help strengthen it within you. The Shadow side to this energy is being over-sensitive and jumping to conclusions. Test & Ground your insights before hardwiring them into your Being in any kind of way. An over-taxed nervous system is widely available for all, so try to connect with Mother Earth often. Whatever gets zapped (loosened) can thus be moved to the compost pile. Whatever gets illuminated (becomes conscious) is to be further investigated for merit, but valuable nonetheless. Keep records of these ah-ha moments as you won’t be able to immediately act on all of them at the same time and, those you cannot (at this time) often turn into nuggets of gold in your future.

6/5 ~ Venus Enters LEO (until Oct 8th):
Venus in Leo brings up issues where your personal self-love, self-esteem & self-worth issues (Leo) are all concerned. More than ever, we have to operate from Heart-Center, you have to care in order to get engaged and so you must clear away all that you do not care about, so that what you do care about has more room to grow & evolve. One of my mantras is that my personal sanctuary is where everything I’m “serious” about, I get to do for FUN! That’s my hope for this Leo infusion of energy, light & renewal. The next 4-months should afford you time to renew your personal self-care routines, as well as your primary Love or Work relationships and prepare to be your Self more fully and let the chips fall where they may. This Venus work is going to be very personal for those with Leo/Aquarius and Taurus/Scorpio activated in their charts. Things that were important to you 6-9 months ago are probably not so vital now, and things that were not even on your list of priorities may have moved to the top. In this case, Leo means your core essential nature & authentic self-expression has evolved over time and adjustments to your personal presentation & current playmates should begin to reflect the *upgrade*.

6/5 ~ Venus (relationships & resources) ~oppose~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
Classic opposition: anything with Venus is usually softened, while anything with Pluto is always intensified, and the opposition automatically brings up the push-pull between these two. You are encouraged to tune into your own heart and then you can trust what is rising from the depths of your own soul. Also, any opposition gives you a look back at your starting point, which can reveal something that you may not be giving your Self credit for. Either way, this energy intensifies experiences where your relationships & resources are concerned. If you have focused on love, to the exclusion of money, then your finances will probably come up at this time for a rebalancing of sorts. If you’ve been focused on money, to the exclusion of family or supportive relationships, then that may be your focus. The bottom line is your true values are up for a purification of sorts. What/Who is really, truly important to you? How do you spend your resources of time, energy & money? What/Who are your real priorities right now? Often, we operate completely unconsciously (Pluto), being driven by deeper forces than we fully understand. And periodically, we must allow them to come up/out so that we can distill or release them so they become compost rather than toxic. Since you may feel ‘compulsive’ in some way, you may as well use that energy to make a deeper commitment to getting to the root or source of any imbalance rather than let it take you away to feed some Hungry Ghost (unidentifiable famine or hunger) in your life. Often, this activation tends to make you uncontrollably drawn to someone that you know is not good for you, which can only result in more problems. It often provokes manipulation, jealousy, guilt and other negative emotions that always come when you are trying to maintain something that wasn’t meant to be in the first place. Again, don’t try to force YOUR Will, that can only lead to a broken heart in the end. If you are already in an intense relationship, beware of subconscious impulses, hidden resentments, unexpressed anger and/or frustration. Expressing it at this time can be helpful if you present your concerns in a constructive way, however, you will have to be personally strong and vigilant in monitoring your own emotions in order to do that. Ultimately, if change needs to happen in your relationship, this energy will be the catalyst. This energy is only “bad” if you are unwilling to get to the real root or source of the given conflict. Otherwise, it is like a storm that cleanses & clears the air, making everything grow better.

6/9 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Neptune (dreams):
This is a great energy for imagination, consciousness and intuition, however, keeping a good filter to distinguish between your own perceptions and what you are picking up from those around you will be crucial to your success. Your mind may be tuned-in to a different channel than usual this week and you may have to rely on other senses, like your feelings or intuitive hunches. You may be very perceptive, picking up on the thoughts & feelings of others, which if/when you are clear (and your filters are working) can yield some surprising revelations about where their consciousness is, at this time (for better or worse) but it also reflects an aspect of your own consciousness that you may not have been aware of, so let’s pay attention. Try to avoid work that requires any attention to detail. Allow your creativity to flow freely without censoring what comes through you at this time. You can organize it later. This is the energy to explore, create and free-flow!

6/10 ~ Pluto Rx RE-Enters CAPRICORN (until 1.20.2024):
Because it is going to take a year or two to fully enter Aquarius, this will be the second to last time that it dips into Capricorn to complete its mission. Pluto has been in a long process of purification & transformation (2008-2024) and retrogrades annually, facilitating evolution on a much more subtle level, although if your chart is activated, it may not *feel* so subtle to you. On a personal level, Pluto helps you dig up any destructive, unconscious patterns, strips you raw and confronts you with who you are and how you will survive when nothing and no one else is available to help or support you. I also like to think of Pluto as our ‘buried treasures’ and like diamonds, it often requires a very special task to release from within and bring into the Light the toughest, best & brightest part of you. Often, because Pluto rules death, rebirth & transformation, something is sacrificed for your own greater good. Although it may be sometimes painful and debilitating, it doesn’t have to be, but is almost always is (a) necessary and (b) ultimately *liberating*!! It’s what we call a *liberating ordeal* – never easy but always worth it!

Pluto is traveling through the last degrees of Capricorn in your chart, digging deep and activating any other planets you may have in Capricorn (and Cancer/Aries & Libra by default). So, it’s good to look at this as an on-going purification & transformation of these departments in life. Pluto moves generations and great numbers of people along their evolutionary path, however, every year when it retrogrades, it turns that energy inward, giving us unique access to our own depths, where our SoulSelf resides. When it goes forward (10/10), then it is a very gradual awakening process that develops from there. Transformation happens behind the scenes and often away from the prying eyes of others, as well as your own conscious monkey-mind. This is deep Transformational Soul Work that only you can do. What have you really purified & transformed this year? or what would you like to?

Use this time to set intentions for purification in the sense that you are supported to strip away the non-essential and reconnect with your purest, original intent. Change is greatly supported at this time, so anything that you are really ready, truly willing & finally able to change, can be transformed forever. Capricorn gets everyone focused on choices & responsibilities, as well as the structure of your life that supports & protects you and the overall stability of whatever House it rules. This is where you should channel your energies and focus to improve at this time.
