Introduction to New Venus Cycle
Every Venus Retrograde begins a new chapter in our relationship with Love, Values, Beauty, Resources and the Sacred Feminine. Although the Retrograde itself unfolds between October & November, the larger cycle actually begins in late Summer as Venus starts slowing down, inviting us to become more conscious of what is changing within us. This is not simply a relationship cycle. It is a cycle of remembering what truly matters.
Venus governs the invisible forces that shape our daily lives. She rules love as the unifying energy flowing through all creation. She governs our values by revealing what we consistently invest our time, energy and money into. She teaches us about beauty as the invisible essence connecting all living things, and she reflects the culture we collectively create through our thoughts, feelings, words & actions.
Every 18-months Venus asks us to pause, review & recalibrate. Every 8-years she returns to nearly the same place in the sky, bringing us back to a deeper lesson that has been unfolding over time. The Gift of Venus Retrograde
Retrogrades are often misunderstood. They are not denials or punishments, they are sacred pauses. Whenever a planet Retrogrades, its lessons become more personal & directed inward. Once Venus enters Scorpio, the work becomes more intimate & soul-related. Scorpio reveals what has been hidden beneath the surface.
