For people new to the community, you can join my eList HERE to be kept in the loop. I usually send out the Monthly Missive during the first week of each month, but if/when things come up in-between, you may get the occasional additional email to alert you to events or classes that are time-sensitive. And May may be shaping up to be one of those months when two missives go out because things are picking up, energetically. I’ve listed the May Events at the end.
The month of MAY brings light, clarity and forward movement – finally! We can start to see the light at the end of this long tunnel of transformation that we’ve been in since Mars slowed down last Fall. While it goes retrograde every 2-years, it has not done it in Cancer/Leo since the 1980’s so this is a rare, deep & personal transformation and no one is exempt. That said, because of this, I suggest that you loose your Self into the wild gradually. It’s a new world out there and you too are brand new – so getting a rhythm, feeling solid and knowing exactly where you’re headed are all going to take a minute to clarify and ground in your individual system.
Mercury will move through Taurus & Gemini this month asking that you do that grounding process first before you begin to explore your newfound options. Your thinking should stay locked in your individual values & personal priorities as you get acclimated to this new energy and your ideas need improvement & beautification before you fully launch them out into the world.
Ceres, who represents how we nurture and like to be nurtured, joins the Aries party with Saturn & Neptune close and Venus & Chiron further along – as if we needed another reason to stay locked-in on Self! She only comes through this zone once every 5-years so it is an amazing opportunity to go even deeper into what nourishes and feeds you on all levels, mental, physical, spiritual & emotional. After the last 1-3 years that we have all lived through, we have new priorities and a new wisdom about what truly “nourishes & nurtures” – how we get our personal needs met. It’s perfectly in keeping with this energetic dynamic to focus on self-care, self-healing and learning or remembering that you even have needs and what they might be, here & now today. She can also support you in nurturing your passion or purpose at a whole new level, it’s basically all about you!
Saturn makes its initial entrée into Aries and I am calling it: Rooting the Flame – Reclaiming Your Fire & Activating New Forms. As Saturn, the Great Teacher and Keeper of Time, crosses the threshold into Aries, the Sign of pure essence and primal beginnings, we stand at the edge of a new cycle of selfhood, freedom & independence, if we can be fully responsible for our choices and present in our exchanges with others. Saturn now arrives in Aries for the first time since 1996-99 in order to refine that Self, not to diminish it—but to sculpt it into something authentic, resilient & rooted in spiritual maturity (gained from navigating the last 2-3 years in Pisces). Saturn in Aries says: Do the inner work. Own & contain your fire. Define your own reality. This is the Soul’s invitation to start again, stronger – not from innocence or naivete, but from your own earned wisdom.
Saturn in Aries is not about doing what’s been done before because this World Point activates all new territory. It is about stepping forward with courage, integrity and a willingness to build something entirely new—starting with your own identity & purpose. Aries energy sparks revolutions—it starts fires. But Saturn tempers that fire, giving it direction & sustainability. This is the initiation of a new cycle of reality, where the foundation of life undergoes a profound rebirth & restructuring. It is not the time to cling to what was, but to face what is. Saturn’s presence is not here to indulge our fantasies or illusions, but to guide us gently & firmly into alignment with truth. The truth of who you are, of how you live, and of what you are committed to becoming. This is a reality-check and a time to stabilize a new foundation and ground a new reality, individually, socially and collectively.

Super New Moons of Spring are intensifying all these new beginnings which reveals that even though we did a tremendous clearing to prepare for these initiations (on multiple levels), come Fall this year, we will have Super Moons intensifying the “no-going-back” vibe. There is likely to be a final purge of that which simply cannot go with you into the new year, new cycle and new world.
