This energy is great for expanding your mind, learning something new or taking a class. It’s time to plan for the future and start getting organized. However, you may feel less disciplined and more creative, which is fine in the beginning, but eventually focus & discipline will have to be engaged to ground your new ideas, thoughts or concepts.
5/3 ~ Venus (love, finances & relationships) ~square~ Neptune (illusions & delusions):
This energy is great for creative flow. If you are artistically inclined in any way, you will have access to an energy that may allow you to create something amazing. Dig deep and allow your Self to free-flow! This energy can also challenge relationships (personal or professional) to ‘keep it real’ in some way and ones which are not on a true, solid foundation are likely to dissolve under this influence.
Taurus/Scorpio energy brings awareness of your deepest values, renewal of your priorities and access to the power to co-create your world. Taurus time (April/May) is an annual opportunity to seed the *Garden* of your life … while Scorpio time (Oct/Nov) brings the annual gifts of power, magic and purification. Working consciously with these energies gives you a chance to truly ground your Highest intentions and bring them into ‘form’ to serve the greater good, which will attract blessings beyond your wildest imagination … *IF* you maintain integrity and do the work! Earth energy requires getting real ~ getting serious ~ and often, getting dirty! It is a chance to co-create, contribute and allow Great Spirit to breathe life into the seeds you plant at this time.
4/26 ~ Sun (essential self & core drives) ~conjunct~ Uranus (disruption & liberation):
This energy serves to provoke a radical shift within you, catalyzing the desire to breathe fresh, clean, new vital energy into your idea of who you are and what you came to contribute. It may not be comfortable, but it is necessary and even moreso for those of you who are rigid in your habits & thinking, or depend on others to validate who you are and what you contribute. Sometimes a little disruption serves to get you focused on what is really important to you. And at this time, change is in the air. It is far better to use the intensity of collective change to shift on personal levels, rather than try to go it alone or worse, play the martyr or victim.

4/14 ~ Sun (illumination) ~square~ Pluto (transformation):
This is a challenge to grow out of your comfort zone and into new territory. That said, with Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), twice a year for these 16-years, when the Sun is in Aries (Spring) and Libra (Fall), we get an opportunity to grow & change in fundamental departments of life: self vs other and home vs work. In this case, and during these years, we are literally changing how we do ALL of these basics. Each year builds on the previous and we are now 12+years into the 16-year process of transformation – that is three quarters of the way and an incredibly dynamic point in time & space.
The Value of Venus Retrograde:
The whole point of any planet going Retrograde is to bring up the issues of its domain, and in Venus’ case, the primary issues are: values, priorities, beauty, love, relationships and resources. It brings these aspects of life up to the surface for everyone. Essentially, this is getting your attention in a way that prompts you to want to explore more deeply and look at things from a variety of other or new perspectives. Before charting the course of future choices & forward movement, there is a personal review & an individual clearing that must happen for you to acquire more clarity & sure-footedness.

Everyone has Aries ruling some area of life and this is the area of life that gets activated at this time every year.
3/31 ~ Mars (energy, desire & action) ~conjunct~ Saturn (structure, responsibility & timing):
Any conjunction is an initiation and Mars rules ‘who you are’ and ‘what you want’, while Saturn rules your definition of reality and your physical limits. If you are feeling frustrated, you may need to clarify your desires more, then take tangible, practical steps toward them. Anytime Saturn is involved, it will depend on your personal nature, as some thrive on structure & good boundaries, while others buck the system and want to do it their own way (which causes its own types of conflicts in the world).
