This month is ALL ABOUT YOU … the NEW you!! Release all that is no longer “truth” for you – on every level. Begin the process of integrating these amazing new aspects you’ve recently discovered about your Self and HONOR who you have worked so hard to become!!
8/1 ~ Mercury (communication & self-expression) ~conjunct~ Sun (core essential Self & Source energy):
This energy will compel you to express yourself on many levels. Communication will be a focus, just make sure it is reciprocated. What I mean is two-way communication and exchange of ideas. As you initiate this new cycle of self-expression, you will have access to some powerful energy that can (and probably will) help you make a difference or an impression on others (if you need to). This is a good time to travel if possible too. However, if not physically, then mentally (through visualization) or within your own area (locally), because if you explore a new direction, you are more likely to discover something new. This energy opens you up to a download of more information than usual so pay attention! If you are solid and organized, you may even gain some much-deserved recognition from others that you have earned through your individual efforts.
7/25 ~ Mercury (communication & self-expression) ~oppose~ Pluto (purification & transformation):
This opposition is between your ideas, thoughts & concepts and your unconscious drives, supporting some deep-digging into the power of your mind and thoughts. How has your thinking shaped your choices over the last 6-months? Are you still operating from an old paradigm of thought? Any opposition is a chance for true integration and we will always have to work at balancing our conscious and unconscious thinking as it affects our day-to-day choices. This could be a good time to consult with a trusted advisor or wise friend to clarify what is coming into your conscious awareness about your own self-sabotaging ideas or habits. This activation supports pulling it out by the root. Often, we address the symptoms rather than the true cause of our discomfort. Pluto won’t allow that. It’s time to go deeper and recognize your own power, the power of your heart and mind, and find that middle ground that allows you peace within and effectiveness without.
7/20 ~ Mercury (acumen) ~sextile~ Uranus (the Awakener):
This energy says, it’s time to go with the flow – “new and different” being the flow. It wants to shake it up a bit – in a good way. However, if you feel like new and different is more like chaos and disruption, then you need to reflect and see if you aren’t being too rigid. Unwillingness to go with the (new) flow will make this energy harder to handle. This is also a good time to try to resolve any old issues or challenges – they are not going away without resolution and conscious release. Perhaps you’ve been trying the same thing over and over and it’s time to try something NEW – now is the time that new ideas can & will come to you. Pay attention! Try to be open and receptive to unusual things, events or ideas and allow room for spontaneity. You may think you are doing one thing and look up and being doing something completely different – be open to exploring the new path!
7/12 ~ Mercury (learning & mind) ~trine~ Jupiter (education & consciousness):
This energy is great for expanding your mind, learning something new or taking a class. It’s time to plan for the future and start getting organized. However, you may feel less disciplined and more creative, which is fine in the beginning, but eventually focus & discipline will have to be engaged to ground your new ideas, thoughts or concepts. You have to ask your Self, ‘How bad do you want it?’ If you are self-aware, awake & alert, you will be able to see (and seize) the opportunities as they present themselves. It may ‘appear’ to be luck, but it’s really more that you were in alignment with the Cosmos, present & positive, and ultimately, able to trust & follow your instincts. Practice, there is no perfection. Being optimistic & looking for opportunity in every experience will magnetize the positive and naturally repel the negative, leading right where you want to be! Take advantage of this good energy to connect to whatever it is you are trying to create in your life at this time.
7/5 ~ Sun (source & essential Self) ~sextile~ Uranus (freedom & individuality):
This activation will help you access a deeper sense of authenticity as everyday, routine events may be more enlightening than usual this week. Anytime Uranus is involved ‘ah-ha moments’ are available, that sudden inspiration or the surprising clarity that changes everything – is bubbling near the surface, you need but invite it in (to your conscious awareness to be useful). Eventually, you will have to ground these breakthroughs in some literal way or physical form, but this energy supports the exploration of possibilities. Where can you use a dose of freedom & liberation? How can you lighten up?
Cancer time brings us face-to-face with some major choices & decisions (Eclipses) which will likely require some form of Assimilation & Elimination. Cancer’s gift is Processing all that passes through your system, taking in the nutrient (that makes the system work) and any excess or toxins that cannot be “assimilated” must be “eliminated”. If you do not eliminate them, then blockages (and some form of dis-ease or discomfort) will occur. Quality nourishment (or what you take into your system) is vital and *if* you have held onto anything that has not been put to proper use, then you may be particularly toxic (within or without), and you will have to Cleanse and Heal FIRST, before your can rebuild or fortify your structure (Capricorn).
This month, the Cancer energy will activate you on the deepest Soul levels. This energy is best when you direct it to Feel & Digest what is going on in and around you … take in and assimilate all nutrients, while eliminating all toxins and excess.
6/27 ~ Venus Enters Leo (until July 21st):
Venus in Leo is all about renewing your values & priorities around *Cultivating Your Authentic Self & Unique Contribution*. The last time it was in Leo was Sept 2020 and just imagine how much your essential nature & values have evolved since then alone! This is an introduction to your newly Emergent Self! Review the last 9-months – what have you developed creatively? How has your heart expanded and your consciousness grown & evolved over that time? How have your values & priorities shifted regarding love, sex, fun, creativity & how you express who you really are? What is all that ‘worth’ to you (then & now)? What is the difference in how you expressed your Self in 2015 (last time she really re-set us in Leo), and how you want to express in new ways NOW (2021)? What have you learned about your Self? What have you learned about your immediate friends, family & community, and your place (and preferences) within each connection?
6/20 ~ Summer Solstice is the MidPoint in the Annual Solar Cycle, bringing another turn of the Wheel, the peak power of the *Light* before it surrenders, moving toward true completion of that which was seeded at Winter Solstice. Permanently opposite each other, eternally balancing and re-balancing … integrating and re-integrating the *Life-Death-Life Cycle*. These Sacred Seasons represent the time of year we should focus on the balance and integration of Light/Darkness ~ Yin/Yang ~ Feminine/Masculine ~ Inner/Outer ~ Cancer/Capricorn, which adds personal & professional as well as public & private.
